Happy Tuesday! I hope you had a wonderful Easter with your family. Not only was April 12th Easter, but it was also my sister’s 18th birthday. This year was definitely a little different considering I didn’t get to gather with my extended family or attend mass in person. We made the best of it as a family and look forward to all the good things that we have ahead as a world.
Since I have been working remote for four weeks now, Sunday was the first time I got up and wore real clothes, put on makeup, and curled my hair. To be completely honest, it did wonders for my mental health to feel like I was in a routine again. I’ve been reading numerous articles on how quarantine affects your mental health, your motivation, and your confidence. To sum it up, they say that creating a home routine for yourself is key to maintain a positive outlook for the time being that we are in this situation. I feel we have a very long way to go before we see any transition back to our normal lives, so create a new home routine for yourself. Wake up earlier, do a 30-45 minute home fitness class/video, shower, put real clothes on, makeup, etc. Whatever makes you feel at ease is important to make you feel as comfortable as possible. Lastly, get outside and enjoy the fresh air! Runs and walks are a saving grace for me and I love to be outdoors.
I have posted outfit details and Easter decor details above. If certain items are out of stock, I have linked alternatives that look very similar and vary in price depending on the quality you prefer. After March, I start to incorporate more white into my daily attire. Ruffles are are one of my favorite blouse accents. I think they are very flattering, tasteful, and classy especially for days like Easter. Amazon, Dress and Dwell, Red Dress Boutique, and Shein are some of the sites I frequent often to get affordable shirts with ruffles or big accent sleeves. I’m all for a bold blouse. Enjoy!
